How is the work-life balance in Ireland?
The Irish people like to think of themselves as hard working, but at the same time they love to chat and spend time with their families.
The Irish law entitles full-time employees with a minimum of 20 days annual leave and at least 8 public holidays. In accordance with the European Working Time Directive, the maximum time spent at work should not exceed 48 hours per week. The usual work schedule is 8h30min per day, from 9:00am to 5:30pm, including the lunch break.
